okay so i have 3 tanks right now...

one 20g with 5 goldfish 1 black goldfish a pleco and a dragon goby <<< I was given this tank

one 10g with 2 blakc tetras 2 cory cats 3 neon tetras and 2 glofish

and one 10g with 8 baby dwarf puffers and 1 neon tetra

ir eally like to somehow combine the tanks can i get some possible combos because the goldfish are cold water and im pretty sure the goby is fresh im just scared if i combine my tropical tank w the tetras witht he pleco and goby in the 20 gallon the goby will eat the small wish...

what can i do

There are a lot of things wrong with those tanks, in the 20g 6 goldfish is WAY too much for that, goldfish are extremely messy you should really only have one MAYBE two goldfish in a 20g. Also if it is a common pleco the min tank size would be a 55 preferably something much bigger. Also dragon gobies require a brackish environment and will not do well in a freshwater tank. Also the goldfish are cold water fish and will not do well in a heated tank. You're second tank, with the tetras, glofish, and corys will be alright. The third tank is overstocked, and depending on what type of puffer you have they may need a brackish environment, also puffers are very territorial fish and Im surprised they havent killed the neon.

I would suggest moving the lone neon into the other 10 gal with the other neons, that tank should be alright. Then I would suggest getting rid of the pleco (which will grow enormous), the goby (which will eventually need a much larger tank), 5-6 of the puffers, and 4-5 of the goldfish. Then you can put 2-3 of the puffers in the 2nd 10 gal (make sure it is heavily planted or else they will fight). Then you could put 1 maybe 2 goldfish in the 20 gal. I think if you did all that each tank should do fine, but definitely get rid of the goby and pleco unless you plan on getting a much larger tank (at least 55 gal) in the near future.

Welcome to the forum Finky.
I am afraid that Ghost is right. The goldfish will require much more space inside of a month or two from when you bought them. Because they eat mostly vegetable matter, they do produce larger amounts of fish waste than many other fish their size and goldfish can get quite large. It is not unusual for a goldfish less than a year old to be well over 6 inches long and just getting into its teenage growth spurt. A goldfish over a foot long is quite common at 2 years or less. As you can see, a tiny 20 gallon tank would be very cramped quarters for a fish that size.
Common plecos are also very big fish. One of my local fish shops has some in a display as you enter their store. There are several in that tank that are larger around than my forearm and over a foot long. The ultimate size of a common pleco is over 2 feet long. Again, these are fish too large for any of your tanks.
Your second 10 gallon with the cories, glofish, black tetras and neons has about the right number of fish in it but many of those fish are better off in larger groups. There is no room left in that tank for more fish though. I would move the single neon in the puffer tank to be with the other neons. The biological load of neons is small enough to get away with that move.
I don't know enough about puffers to give advice on them.

Yes, agree with the above two posts. A lot of re-homing will need to take place to get down to stockings that will allow the fish to live and be healthy. One of the biggest helps in re-homing goldfish will be to find one or more people with goldfish ponds. Often they will have enough extra capacity to be able to add more goldfish.
