Well, new to the hobby again. A lot has changed in the 10+ years since I had fish. With that said a ton has stayed true also. Figured i would check a forum out and see what kind of both old and new ideas were being exchanged. At the moment I only have a 90 gal and a 55. Been running them about 2 years now, a little over probably. Only have some pics of my 90 right now. I have an oscar, featherfin catfish, female bristlnose place and 2 dojo loaches. I have to add I was working on a zero budget to put this together. The wife didn't exactly want fish. So I got the 90 for free and had to reseal clean and so on. Built the filters with 3 $10 powerheads and PVC I had laying around. Added a $10 sheet of open cell foam. The lights my brother had from and old tank as well as the rock decorations. The wood is all local Alaskan cottonwood I processed myself. And the sand is all Alaskan glacial sand I also processed. Could clean it up a bit and make it look prettier. We actually purchased land this year and will be hoping to build on it next summer. If I'm able and I'm going to build a very large tank into the wall. So making this one pretty here where were staying just isn't a high priority. Anyway, there is a little about me and my tanks. Look forward to going through more posts and seeing what the talk is about. Have a good day.
