New 64Ltr Project

Hi folks,

I thought I'd venture out of the welcome forum and post up some pics of my work in progress.

I'm new to this fishkeeping lark, and am currently 15 days into a fishless cycle.

Planning on adding plants once I get through the nitrogen cycle, and I'm going to be putting a pair of Kribs in here.

Red wood detail. Has developed a white growth, which according to other postings will eventually go away, I hope ????

Cotswold rock. Never intended to build a pyramid, but maybe it will help focus good energy. :dunno:

Little hiding places ready for residents. :)

So, how it looking so far?

:thanks:
It looks nice, although i personally wouldnt have gone for that gravel. How about some java fern on the wood when the cycles done?:good:
Regarding the white furry stuff, it will go eventually.:good:

I agree with the gravel. Would look amazing with sand, black or white. So far, hardscape is looking good! Loving the black rock/slate (not sure what it is, but I want some!)
Would love to see it when you have some plants in. :good:

Are your rocks resting on the glass? If so I'd advise taking them off, from what I've seen, this makes the glass really susceptible to algae staining.
