New 5 Gal. Marine Aquarium Setup

I am trying to get aquatinted with marine tanks and am starting with a 5 gallon setup. I have searched and searched for help on setting this up as far as what i need and what to do- and what i will need to do this. I have the tank, a couple of plants also but am starting from the beginning.
