New 26 Letre Tank

Hi, im just buying a 26 litre tank, just wondering what size heater and filter this requires. im looking at an aqua flow 50 filter on ebay and not sure at all on wattage for heater.

my intent for this tank is for a breeding tank as i also have a 125L tank which i would like to stock using the newborn fish,

thank you, also what about the filter? how much litre per hour should it be outputting for this size tank?

If it's for breeding, probably a sponge filter would be better than a power filter.

yea, like he said it depends on the purpose. sponges are good for fry. the air pump that would need to power this would have to be like the tetra tec aps50, about that size- they come with guides on what size tank they are suitable for

apart from this if you wanted an internal filter you should be looking at about 100-150 litres per hour, that should do
