hi my wife got bite by my fish bug and now i have got her a 25ltr tank

I know its small but she just wanted some think small by the side of the bed.

but she wants cold water fish i m not very up on cold water fish i keep Lake Malawi cichlids in my tank !

was thinking what could she stock the tank with ?

any help would be great !

honestly the best cold water fish are simply the various types of Goldfish
but if your patient you can have Neon Tetras but you would have to acclimate them for a while
also beta fish work great in cold water.
Hope this helps
it also depends on the temperature of where you live and also what your place's temp. is.

Goldies need huge tanks, neons and bettas are both tropical.

A 25l would be good for a single male betta, possibly with a shoal of chilli rasbora (if you add the betta in last and add a heater).
Before you put anything in, have you read up on cycling your filter? You can find more info on that here.

Minnows need a lot more swiming space than a 25l and all the small algae eaters are tropical and sociable, and your tank wouldn't be big enough.

You'd be far better off getting a little heater and having a betta and/or a few small tetras or rasboras, maybe some shrimp or snails as well.
