Just got my son a new 25 Gallon with the Eclipse2 filter and light system.
The contents of the 10g in my sig will be put in this tank with new gravel.
The 10g will become my new nano salt tank.

I'll post progress pic's of both when i get them going.

Nice tank, how much did that set-up with the Eclipse hood cost you?

off to a nice start. I like the eclipse tanks they're really very simple the only thing I had to do with mine was replace the incandescent bulb with a nice fluorescent. I've got 2 of the eclipse 5G hex's. Their standard filter is decent but doesn't hold up against a heavy bioload but for normal use keeps the tank crystal clear.

It cost me $139 USD. I think this well be easy setup for my son to keep.
I'm thinking of painting the back a blue color, does anyone know what kind of paint i can use on the glass????

Go to a hobby shop(think like RC cars and such.) there you'll find special paints that can bond to lexan and acrylic. Regular paints will flake off the acrylic.
