got a 40 gal community tank set up and running for well over a year, however decided I want to keep tiger barbs and rather than risk any of my community fish being nipped decided to convert a small ex-fry tank into a barb tank.
it's 12 gall. however I do not have any experience with barbs at all, just wondered how many of a mixed group of tigers and green tigers i could keep in this tank? also would they mix ok with perhaps three peppered cory?
do they mix WELL with any other fish? Need to make sure any other fish will be safe to go with them as I don't even want the chance of nipping since the point is not for them to survive but to thrive.
What would be the ideal conditions/tank mates for for these fish?
