Hi :)

Today I bought two new cories. One was a Julii and the other was in with them, and looked similar except the spots down his side are squidged together a bit, and he doesn't have the line down his side. He does have the black blotch in his dorsal fin though. I've been having a bit of a search online and I was wondering if he was a Network Cory (corydoras reticulatus)?

I'll try and post pics later (have to borrow sister's computer)...

Thanks

Kathy

The Julii is a Trilineatus, but what's this?!

Thanks Emma - snap by the way (I found that site in a Google search). :)

I *think* he's a reticulatus - not sure if they're super common or not (paid £6 each for these as "Julii" and the other one is definitely trilineatus). I knew he wasn't a Julii, and bought him because I was curious *lol*.

It looks like a reticulatus to me too, but i should get some further opinions. :)

New pic today - I'm thinking sodalis now? What do you guys think?

It's a Corydoras Sodalis. If it was a Reticulatus it would have the networked pattern throughout its whole body down to its belly. the Sodalis has the networked pattern to just below its midline then it has vertical lines. Kathy yours is a Sodalis because of the presence of the vertical lines.
