Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong but ALWAYS certai
I have to try to catch my big Frontosa and was dreading it till I came up with this plan.
I obtained a plastic lid from one of those large plastic storage containers (come in all sizes) It is slightly larger than my tank front to back to top.
The idea is to remove rocks (in my case) from one end of the tank. Then with a net guide the fish you need down to that end then slide the lid down at an angle then straighten it so it touches the front back and bottom of the tank.
Then, acting like a tank divider, slowly work to the end of the tank until you have a gap just wide enough for your net. Obviously other fish may also be trapped in the space but it will make it a lot easier to net the hard to catch fish in the confined space rather than disturbing the whole tank.
Will let you know how it goes tomorrow
