Nertrite Snails

hi i have a 60 gallon tank im turnning into a planted tank with various rainbow fish so small algae eaters an angel fish a rainbow shark and some either 12 bar or yoyo loaches, I was looking into getting maybe 20 or so nertrite snails for algae duty. but i have 2 questions,
1:do they eat/ destroy plants ( crypts, hygro,vallis, swords, sag, java fern, anubias , myrio, and red ivy)
2: will the loaches or any other fish in the tank for that matter eat them?

I wouldn't do it with the loaches in there.

yeah thats what im worried about I think i might just go with a couple more clown plecos
