Hi all,
I've been looking around for tank buddies for my betta, and since he seems to bully anything that moves out of his tank (he literally kicked out 2 expensive amano shrimp on to the floor), I think I need to get him some armored friends.
I've had good luck with malaysian trumpet snails, but they multiply like crazy, so I want to avoid them. The generic mystery snail and ramshorn snail I've had moderate success with, but I would like to add one more snail to clean his side of this split 8 gallon tank.
So I came across this:

And I'm having a hard time finding this snail anywhere! Is it even a true freshwater snail? Anyone have any ideas on where I should try getting them from?
