i was looking at getting 2 assain snails and 2 nerite snails for my new 5 gallon and was not sure if they would breed and breed like common snails and over run my tank
can someone confirm if they do this or not???
thanks

Nerite snails lay eggs which hatch out into larvae, and the larvae need brackish/marine water to grow up - so you wont have any problems with them

Assasin snails lay singular eggs, and breed quite slowly. Obviously given enough time there will be a lot of them in the tank, but they are easy to remove and you can sell the babies.

assassins only lay on stiff stem plants and wood so may r may not breed in you aquarium. Also there young take 7 months to mature and come out of the sand.
