Nerita Snails

I wanna get some Nerita snails for my 29 G aquarium. I have live plants and they would be for algae control. What would be a good number for that size tank?

10 would be a good start. After a month or so, if there is still algae then get a few more. Your maximum stock is about 30 (!). They look great when you have a few different types.

Yes but watch out, i've head from alot of people that they lay eggs all over the tank, they don't hatch, but nothing eats them and they are a pain to scrub off. I think 30 would be way too much if you also have fish in the tank, but just keep checking your stats .

Yep, that's exactly why I rehomed the six that I had.
