Neons?

Is it safe to put my 3 neon tetras in a 55 gallon tank with my red-tailed shark?

The RTBS is a very territorial fish and aggressive, it probably won't eat your neons but it might bully them to death... But if your tank big enough and has some caves and space then don't worry, but it is adviced to keep these sharks with medium sized to large fish like rainbow fishes, tinfoil barbs and some species of cichlids,but I personally don't advice keeping small and peaceful fishes like neons with a territorial fish like a RTBS.
