Hi

I have had 5 neons in the past. They were doing great until I added ruimmy noses that brought ich into the tank and killed them off (plus others). I'm thinking of getting more again.

Are they ok to have once established. They seemed fine, but didn't really do very much not like other fish who are always on the go. Is this their nature?

I am after stocking up with more fish. I prefer small colourful fish that are faiirly lively. Numbers between 1 and 6. I have the room in my tank. I have tried my hand at guppies and would love to keep them, but I've found it hard to get them established.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

I already have

- 3xplatys
- 4xdanios (pearl & longfin zebra)
- 1xbetta
- 1xcoolie loach

You could try cardinal tetras, same colors as neons but a lot hardier.

Hi,

what size is the tank? the khuli loach would appreciate some friends.

Emma :)

Yeah. I really want another one, but my pet shop has stopped stocking them for the time being. How big do they actually get? My has grown a little, but I cant see him getting much bigger.

Also, I really want 6 neons but I'm afraid they'll get ill and affect my other fish. How likely is this to hapoen, assuming water levels stay good?

Cheers
Andy.

Well if you are talking about Black Kuhlii Loach they grow to a adult size of 3 inches. About how likely the neons are to not becoming ill if water levels are good cant still be said. Fish can also get illed from poor diet, poor quality food, being bullied, etc. But if you are looking for some very healthy fishes buy from Liveaquaria. They are the healthiest fish in the industry and they ship it directly to your door. This is their website http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/categ.cfm?pcatid=830. But they only ship in the United States. I bet you will be satisfy with their survice. Good look with your tank.

Well I went for the neons today.

Got my water tested first. All perfect!

It was 5 neons for £4. I got home and there were 6 in the bag! Yipee!!!
