Neons & Bettas?

Am i right in thinking that neons are nippy fish? I have a Betta which is currently living in the nursery tank because some of his tail was nipped off, probably by the platies.
Once the fry are gone i'd like to put something small, pretty and shoaling in there with him. Its approx 65l. Any suggestions?

Anybody? Ive seen a post by chilipepper saying about rainbowfish?

I have a shoa lof Neon Tetras and a shoal of Glowlight Tetras and they are very peaceful fish. Have not noticed any of them nipping or even attempting to nip any of my other fish.

I have a small shoal of 9 Cardinal Tetra in a comunity tank and they keep themselves to themselves

Never had Neons so could not say for sure I have some Glowlights as well, there peaceful as well
