neon tetras

laitly ive noticed my neon tetras lose there bright colours at night..but they come back in the morning!!!!! is this normal or whatthere really healthy too, so whats happenin?

It's quite normal - don't worry about it. A lot of brightly coloured fish lose their colour in the dark and it returns in the light.

Yup, perfectly normal. No worries.
I still wonder why it happens though... anyone out there know why?

It has a lot to do with the reflection of the light. If there is less light to reflect, then there is less colour visible in the fish. So, as gadazobe said, there's nothing to worry about. Enjoy the colour in the daytime!

ya thankx..i was thinking it was normal..but wasnt quite sure.This forum is great i have some question and instead of asking a friend or calling the shop i can ask u guys , and know in just a couple minutes!!! too cool!
