Neon Tetras With Betta

I got a new 5 gallon tank. Now purple CT male betta boy, Nibbles, is enjoying himself. I am planning to add a couple of neon tetras. Is is advisable to add 5 neon tetras to the 5 gallon tank? Do you think nibbles would harass them? I saw a guy had a veil tail betta with a couple of neons on youtube.

Depends on the Betta in some cases the neons will end up as lunch and other times they will live happily together.

I think this depends more on the betta. Ive successfully kept a male betta with neons before, they're my gf's favorite fishes so I tried it out and it worked out great! It was about 5 neons with 3 peppered corys and a male betta in a 20g. goodluck to you!
