Neon Tetra "tumor"

One of my neons has recently developed a large bump about 2/3 of the way down his side. It looks like a tumor -- perhaps it's just some sort of parasite. Does anyone know what this might be?

Could be a cyst, ulcer or a tumor or something else but these are the most common ailments that cause such problems in fish- your best bet is to treat the fish with an anti internal bacterial med, as if its a cyst or ulcer this will clear it up, if its a tumor though it is unfortunately untreatable (however thankfully not infectious if its genetic).
I think some fish tumors can be caused by viruses, but i forget the name of such viruses.
