Do they produce a lot of waste?

i just got a few of them, and i doubled the number of fish in my tank with adding these tetras... i was just wondering if that would double the waste produced in my tank. the only reason im not assuming it will double the waste produced is because they are so small... the small school of them that i have is about the same size as my gourami...

also, what do they eat? the main food i give my fish is live blood worms, i feed them live blood worms every day. and in the few days ive had the tetras, i havnt really seen them make a move on the blood worms....

Thanks.

try tropical fish flakes they like to get food from the top of the water ive noticed going by the tetra's ive had that is , im not saying thats how they primerily eat though
they like to bolt to the top and snatch it lol

I have neon tetra's. I find they don't produce nearly the same amount of waste as my other fish do. And yeah, I've found the prefer the flakes. Althought when I gave mine some bloodworm they ate it, well they ate the little pieces that floated to the bottom.

Tetras are Low waste producers

compare to pleco in waste producing, tetra is nothing.
