neon tetra/male betta ??

Could I safely put my male betta in w/ my 10 large neons?
Neons are in a 15 gal Eclipse.

depends if u have a agrissive beta its a no no, and if you have nippy neons its a no no, but with 10 i think you have a less chance of nipping or more im not sure, but if it doesnt work out make sure you have a tank for the betta, make sure you really watch them, hours if you can, the betta wont pick a fight right away(maby) he will most likly pick a fight the next day or later that day, i would also bring in the betta right before u shut of the lights, trust me it will help for the short term.
