Neon Tetra Help!

I brought some fish today, danios and neon tetra, when I got home I found 1 neon tetra dead in the bag, so I had 5 left, well it's been 6 hours since I put them in the tank and the danios and the platties are attacking my neons, 1 more neon just died for being attacked so I have 4 left, I have a breeding net, shall I put the neons in there untill everything calms down?

i have 4 neons, 2 larger tetras, one cory cat, and one male betta all in a 10 gal and surpisingly there is no fighting... but there is a big scurry when i drop in food
the neons are so tiny, so any aggressive fish may just eat them all
but they are so cute...

My neons attack my platies and guppies more than the other way around....and there are far more other fish than neons...

As for the feeding thing I find that my neons won't go to the top for food but will eat whatever sinks in front of their faces....
