Somewhere else, as I am banned...
As noted previously, the Nem seems to have a number of its nematocysts which appear to be splitting. I wonder whether perhaps there is some cloning going on as the number of them and the point of splitting keeps changing. After many photos I managed to get the below shot:

And I suppose you might want to see some of the other photos taken at the same time (and even if you don't, they are still being posted).

This pic probably gives the closest to the true colour of the nem. It's a shame I can't get a good night shot, the nem keeps the pink tips (which fluoresces) and the "stalks" develop green.

And have the rest of the photos of the nem (and the clowns who decided to get in on the act)

And as the macro was out, let's see just how nice Aiptasia can look if you let it grow

And yet another vid of the clowns hosting

Enjoy

What a stunning Nem Andy. Just wondering how much room do you have to allow around it, in regards to placeing other coral species.

Beautiful looking anemone
I wish I could put one in my tank but I don't want to risk it dying.

The nem seems to be growing larger every day. I have moved two corals from around it within the last week as it grows large and starts to interfere with them. At the moment it has around a 6" diameter sphere.

Somewhat interesting is that it no longer shrinks down at night since the clowns started hosting. The downside is that the clowns attack me as I feed their nem. :/

To be honest that is one of, if not the, nicest bubble tip I have ever seen. The tentacles dividing is not to my knowledge a sign that the nem is wanting to clone; rather, a perfectly healthy nem suddenly packing up and moving into the dark pretty much signals cloning.

Heh, perc clowns attacking I could deal with... an angry maroon and domino can be a real pain.

I like the motion created by the wavebox, sure wish someone would make one small enough for a Nano (85-100ltr) I'm sure this would be a winner. I was looking to incorporate one in my tank (looked at various mfgs) but the turnover would have been to large, so I have the un-natural powerheads.
Really impressed with that Andy, especially the way the Clowns and the BTA interact in the motion.
