Need your opinions!! Aquabid..

I've wanted a HM for a long time, and someone here suggested I try aquabid.com.

Well, I've narrowed my choices down to 3 choices.

Help me decide?

I said 2 hours in the heading because I want to set it up before the real 3 hours ends.

Help me decide? I cant get all 3, and Im pushing the line with 2. I want to get 1 to see how it goes. help me decide!?

as far as Im concerned, the 1st one is a marble. which means they'll change colors, right? would the color changing be just as pretty in the end?

The third one is really nice too... heck, they're all nice!

If you're really picky about it being a true HM don't go for the first... "HM geno" just means at least one of his parents was HM and he's delta.

Hi,
I like the first best. Marbles do change, but that one shoulnd't change enough for him to look like a diff fish. Since you only want 1 or 2, I wouldn't get any of those. I see that you like in ny, ME TOO (Lolng Island) The shipping will be alot for ant of those fish, and I noticed that only the first 2 are from the same person.
You will have to pay for the fish $15-20. THen $5 each to transhipper + .03% if you use paypal. Then import fes etc. Then shipping from transhipper to you. If you only get 1 fish, you are looking at over $50. I have seen simmilar fish sold by people in the us. You could probably GET 2 fish like those or nicer, for under $50, if you look for a seller in the U.S.

I was looking for almost a month for a seller on Long Island (thats where I am, Suffolk County) within a reasonable distance. only one place sells them, but the fish they sell look horrible and I vowed never to buy from them. I havent been back there since.

I favor the first and third ones, myself. But I'm quite partial to pale blue marbles, as I think they're simply stunning.

Where is the store? I live in Patchogue. Hi, neighbor. I have purchased fish from 2 breeders in the U.S, that I would recomend. 1 is actually in Queens. I'm not sure what she has right now, but she even had a friend of hers bring them to his job in Sayville. I picked them up from him, and saved myself the shipping fee.
None of mine were HM's though. I got Dt's and Deltas. I don't think she has updated her site in a while I would Email her and ask what she has.

The other one's seller ID on Aquabid is: DIG. I got some real nice fish from him.
I got a trio of pastels, a trio of Steel, a multi male/pineapple female pair, and my fave, an orange female. I know he even has some coppers recently.

Both of those people were reasonable cost, and gave free fish.

Concidering Fish4Me's suggestion on finding a seller in the US, Im going to hold off on Aquabid and see if I can find one in the US.

The one in Queens is a distance from me, not sure if I want to drive that far.. I get lost very easily! lol

All 3 are beautiful!!!

Most beautiful IMO is firstly #3, then #2, then #1.

I am looking into purchasing a HM as well, but am afraid of all the "hidden costs" (i.e. transportation, customs,...) on aquabid.

I just discovered 2 actual fish shops near my house this weekend (thought we only had pet-stores, not dedicated fish stores in my area), so I will be stopping by hoping to find some beauties there.
