Hi i need help with my tank. i done a 20 present water change today. treated the water before adding it into the tank. i also added fertiliser for my plants. couple of hours later 2 of my rasboras are upside down trying to swim. they started at the top of the tank floating. the rest of the fish seem to be ok. ive tested my tank everything seems to be the same, just my ph is a little low sitting at 6. is there anything ive done wrong or can do.

What are your other water parameters? What species of rasbora? If they are Harlequins (Trigonostigma heteromorpha), for example, they spawn in an upside down posture.

they are kubotai rasbora. my other water parameters are fine. ammonia is 0 so is nitrite is 0. and my nitrate are at 3

Your water change seem to have triggered an instant spawning if you have floating plants it will help them.

It doesn't look good.

Kubotai are not spawning this way tho, if the fish are looking in distress rather than looking like they are doing it intentionally.

Depending on your water change schedule. Waiting too long between water changes can lead to drastic PH shifts with soft water.

If there's a large divergence between them 20% can have some impact on GH and KH.
