Need To Set Up Killi's Urgently

Im getting veryannoyed with fish to be honest at the minute, no matter how i try tolook after it all someone always gets something imcompatible and i have to sort it out. My Bichir is just taking an interest in someones lone guppy, so i've got to move that guppy into the only other tank we have, an upstairs one housing 4 rummy nosed tetra's and a new pair of killifish. Only it was, in the few days i've had the killi's they butchered and killed the rummy nosed tetra's and as soon as i put the guppy in they started non stop attacking it.

Before the killifish start to kill everything else what are the bare essential set ups i could create out of nothing?
I need help asap, holding a guppy in a cup of water in one hand whilst having to magic up a fish tank from nowhere and getting the blame for everyone else bad choice of fish

Any water tight container with a heater, and a filter with some mature media in it, is the bare minimum you need.

I always steal a handful of plants to give the fish some cover as well.
