Yeah I agree that you should add more of the same corys

Is it that you don't see your cories much and that's why you want to add another bottom dweller?
In a bigger group you would see the cories becoming more confident, they would be out more. But they do like coming out more in the evening. Kuhli Loaches will hide a lot too, so you may not see a lot of them unless it is feeding time.

I have a 4 foot long 40 gallon tank, it has 7 Kuhli Loaches and I may see 3 or max 4 at the same time. During feeding they may all come out, they may not.
I also have 14 Harlequin Rasboras and at the moment 1 Honey Gourami (in the process to get him 3 females)! Oh and 2 Sulawesi Snails. They add a bit of colour too!

Have you considered snails before?

no i have not considered snail as i am worried they will eat my plants. i do see the cories but i just want something else to add life to the bottom

Nerite Snails are great algae eaters. They will not eat your plants! If you're worried they're not getting enough to eat you can drop them an algae wafer or a slice of zucchini once a while. Nerite snails will not reproduce in fresh water tanks.

Sulawesi Snails are great algae eaters as well as left over eaters, they are omnivores, and you can help prevent them from snacking on your plants by feeding them sinking pellets, algae wafers and veggies. They are gender specific and you will need a male and a female for them to reproduce. They do not lay a clutch of eggs, but will only have one live baby at a time.

hmmm, i just dont see the snails adding movement maybe color. i was thinking what about some type of pleco like golden nugget. will the pleco eat my plants?

The snails definitely move :p I sat and watched my mystery snail for like an hour, following him around the tank. Maybe I'm just easily amused..

okay, khuli loaches will come out all the time if they have plenty of hiding places...

Yes, that is true, but they will still hide lots of the time. You will look into your tank and wonder what happened to all the movement you were expecting after you added them, lol!
When they are out though, it is hilarious to watch them. They swim laps, they absolutely love to swim the whole length of my 48" long tank, swim up the sides of the end of the tank, turn around and do it all over again. They will hoist themselves up onto plants and snake themselves across the branches and leaves looking for food, and drop again to the bottom. I love to watch them, they are quite entertaining.

My snails don't sit still either, I look into the tank and find myself doing a "Where's Waldo" search, and when I come back a little while later I have to do the search all over again! :)
The Sulawesi snails have a beautifullly dark shell, and their flesh is this glowing yellow gold colour.

yea that what i mean , IMO loaches create more movement than snails..
