need some good beginner info

Here is my dilemma

My dad came home saying someone he knew at work was having trouble with his fish, something to do with high nitrite levels.

I thought - sounds like something I could fix and offered to give the guy some advice

It turns out he has a POND not a tank - I don't know anything about ponds!

I assume they're similar in terms of how the nitrogen cycle is carried out, etc, but I feel it would help if I knew it more about ponds and how they're maintained etc.

So bascially what I'm asking is - does anyone have any good links about ponds? ta.

theres literaly loads of em ,links i mean ,do a google for pond care and look for the koi related ones as these offer the best advice imo
