Hi
I am new to this forum but i already had good advise on brackish fish.
I already posted this on the chichlid forum but nobody came up with anything. Somebody suggested this site.
Could somebody give me advise on a Malawi Crab ???
The Story is : Hubby and me have a 100 gallon tank what was sitting in the garage for the last seven years as when we moved house the living room was not big enough. Before we moved we always had malawi chiclids. Now we had an extension build we set up the tank again with malawi chiclids. As iam always intrigued I saw a malawi crab and thought thats different and I bought it. When I handed over my money another customer said to me ohhh nooo I had one of them and it eat my fish. So when I bought it home I was to scared to put it into my tank, so for the time being I put him into a tank i have set up for babys.
(But empty at the time )The next day (I didnt have the heart to bring him back to the shop) I bought his own little tank only 2ft. put in coral sand and ocean rocks made him a nice cave. he does seem happy in there but I find it a bit boring with no fish in there. The problem is that I can't have small fish and for bigger
fish the tank I think is a bit to small.
Any advise how I can brighten up the tank with some tank mates
Thanks
