Ok, i have just been given 10 livebearer young, all are just over half an inch, will they be ok with 2 danios and 2 female bettas and a male betta?

I could remove the male betta, but only put him in with 3x 2.5 inch oscars, would they get on, or should i just drop them into the first tank an stop worrying :p

At 1/2", they should be fine, unless your betta is a raging psychopath (it happens).

VERY IMPORTANT CAVEAT:

There should be lots of plants (fake or real) and/or rocks/caves in the tank. Basically, fry need plenty of places to hide.

Edit:
Oh, and don't put the betta in with Oscars!

I'll second that, don't put the betta in with the Oscars, I'm surprised you can get away with having 2 females and 1 male in the same tank all the time, or is the male only in there during spawning?

The male in this tank is a real wimp :p

The male and females dont bother each other at all!

Oh, and its very well planted :)

I have guppy fry in my tank maybe a little smaller than yours and my female betta chases them around all day, occasionally getting one or two.
