Need Info On Angelfish Asap

A friend of mine is being deployed & left me his angelfish to take care of while he's gone. It's not a real big fish but all I've had are Bettas & some smaller fish so I'm a little in the dark about Angels. I obviously don't want to endanger him in any way so would like to know temp, food, habits, whatever is important for keeping him alive. He's about 6" tall I'd guess & a little shorter nose to tail. Thanks much!

The most important thing is; is it in a cycled tank; IE one with a mature filter containing a colony of good bacteria?
 
If it is, then angels aren't that hard to look after, they're fairly tough fish.
 
Temp around 25°C, a good quality tropical fish food and lots of good, clean water is really all they need. Angels can be aggressive, so you don't want to keep it with anything too small, but they can also be wusses too, so nothing that's going to pick on it or nip it's fins

Healthy looking fish that. They are fairly sturdy fish, whatever your friend has been doing will be fairly good to carry on I suspect. Main thing people get wrong with angels is trying to keep them in small tanks. They don't move around a lot because they're ambush predators, which means they sit still or move around slowly a lot but still need room to feel that they can pounce on things to be happy.

I don't have a lot of plants in the tank...would he feel more "stealth" with more cover?
