need help

goin away on holiday 4 a week and dont no wot to give my fish to eat.

i last time put a 5 day pyramid block in it and when i came back my tetras,
harlequins all died. y was this. wot should i do when i go away.

those blocks have plaster or ash or something in them that is not good for fish. most fish can go several days without food, or you could get someone to feed them for you but if you do you should probably leave premeasured cups of food so they don't overfeed them. hth

Most fish can go up to two weeks without eating. If you're worried about leaving your fish without food that long, get a neighbour to feed them once during the week. Leave the food premeasured, as karrihug said, so the fish aren't overfed.

When I went away recently for a couple of weeks, I gave my key to my neighbour (with a full list of instructions). When I came back they were all fine

I've left my guppies and tetras unfed for 5 days and they are still doing great!

i ve got angels in my tank they r more hard to keep than guppy.

you can buy an automatic feeder either electric or battery operated that will give premeasured amounts of food.
