Need Help With Oranda

Hi, anyone have a red cap oranda that float to the top and works hard to swim down a lot. The next day she was fine. This only happened twice. Could it be the food she ate or she gobbled down fast as she didn't want the others to get it?

Sounds like you maybe overfeeding it. I suggest cutting back on the food

sounds a bit like swimmbladder prob, which can be related to food. make sure you pre-soak any food you give to make sure it sinks as soon as it goes in and split the feeds to twice a day. also peas are good for giving them a bit of a clear out, mind and take the skins off first
