need help with Liarius pictus

Ive just went to feed my pictus and when he came out the ship I noticed that one of his long barbels is white about 2cm's from the end.

He seems to be ok apart from that.

Any ideas?

CFC I know you have one, have you experienced this before?

btw i posted here as I thought I would have a better response than in the emergency section, hope thats ok

hi there,

i had this problem with my pim pictus because I did a full dose on whitespot which burnt there whistkes back.

after doing some large water changes and some mela fix dosing they were back to normal pretty fast.

Thanks mate, thats it, now you mentioned it a few weeks ago I treated the tank for whitespot when I got my diplodocus so I bet thats what upset him.

Ive changed 25% of the water last weekend so tomorrow will do another water change to help him out.

Make sure you do quite a large one to get rid of all the chemicals then melafix should speed up the healing a bit.

I was quite worried at first as once the whiskers go back to the head there a goner
