I have an outdoor pond with Tinfoil Barbs, Glofish and Zebra Danios. I know that my Glofish and Danios spawn frequently but the fry never survive as they are readily eaten by the adults. However, today I found one lone Glofish/Danio fry. It just started free-swimming so it's probably only about 2 or 3 days old. It's the size of a brine shrimp! I put it in a one gallon tank. I'm afraid to use the pump/filter as I think it will get sucked in even with pantyhose over the filter. Will there be enough oxygen in the water without a pump/filter running?

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to breed GloFish, as they are copyrighted "material"

It can't get sucked into a covered filter. Use an air powered one with a lump of cycled sponge.
