Need help with filter!

Hey all i was just recently given a canister filter, so i could filter my 3ft tank, i have no idea of how to set this thing up, ive connected MOST things that came with it, the things that i am having problems with are, theyre called -

*impeller
*a bag with white tube things lol noodles?
*a bag of carbon?

Any help on putting this thing together would be great.

What's the make, and the model number? There are dozens of canisters on the market.

This info is needed to figure out how it comes apart to put in the impeller. The noodles will go in closest to where the tank water comes in, the carbon will go in closer to where it comes out.
