It is finally here! I have a 30 gallon tank that is in process of a fishless cycle (add and wait method) so I am researching fishy options.

I want a good mix of pretty fish, I admit, I like them pretty! :drool: but I really need help figuring out what is ok.....

I am thinking so far about;

---- African dwarf frogs, because they are just so cute! (we do have a tight fitting lid with no holes to escape!) about how many do I need for them to be happy?

---- A variety of angel fish, only about 3 max because of space of course- what do you think are the prettiest varieties and can I mix and match them (black viel and albino, etc, you know what I mean?)

---- I really like the Gold Nugget Pleco, he is beautiful, but gets a bit big for a 30 gallon, what other alge feeders are good for a 30 gallon --- what about 'ottos' - maybe a few of them-- AND I AM re-homing the pleco from my 10 gallon to the 30 gallon (i was a newbie when they sold me the pleco for a 10 gal!)

---- I definately want one of these- Hammers Cobalt Blue Lobster -- but will he be bad for the frogs? like eat them? and how many do I need to keep them happy?

---- and maybe some random snails and shrimp? I do plan on having it pretty well planted, my 10 gallon is well planted and I love it that way instead of fake plants.

So what do you think of this list so far? Too much? Too little? I want it well stocked, I love fish and have a hard time keeping it down, I already have 3 other tanks and will probably get more soon! It is my addiction.

Any suggestions? Ideas? Here is a quick picture (with some various fake plants that will be removed when I add in real plants, also we are going to add a few bags of black gravel to cover the black and purple mix! :good: )
