Hello my name is Karleen, I am searching for anyone that has feeder snails in Windsor Ontario, My puffer fish seems for want these constanly as food and is eating noting else. lol If anyone have any info or help plz contact me :)

Often times fish stores are glad to get rid of some of the pest ones that they have. It's worth it to check it out and then set up a simple small like 2 gallon to "raise snails". Then you'll have your own supply. I've heard many conflicting opinions on malaysian trumpet snails. Some say that they can break their beak on them, but a knowledgable person said they only bite the foot off so it's not that big of deal.

I've heard quite a few times that pond snails could be the best. For a treat every now and then chuck in a little shrimp if you want (what kinda puffer do you have). They will eventually eat it.

Someone on here sent me loads of snails for my figure 8 in the post and i put them in a breeder net in one of my other tanks in the hope they would not escape.. they seem to be breedin very quickly in there and none seem to have got out and infested my tank yet...

If you have not got another tank you can put them in a big jar with gravel and water and holes in the top.. It doesn't take much for them to breed..
