Need Definitive Id On This Guy Please

I bought one of these guys at my LFS; they told me it is called a gold algae eater, the owner of the pic classifies him as a chinese algae eater. What is he???

Golden Algae Eater

Whilst they are efficient at eating algae whilst young, they become very aggressive and territorial when they reach about 4". When they reach this size, they are best kept in a species only tank although they will fight with their own type.
You would be better off taking him back to your lfs and exchanging it for something else.

When I bought him at my LFS, I was originally just looking for a common plec, but they didn't have any and sold me this guy. Not knowing anything about him, I took him. I am pretty upset...I think I will take him back and have a chat with the manager about being sold him by one of her employees.

i had this problem with these the lfs told me a heap of rubbish so i took it back and then they banned me from the shop , because basically they wouldnt belive wme that they got big and aggressive and werent suitable for a 2foot tank!
