I've got to say bye bye to Casper and Jasper after work (my 2 Black Ghost Knife's) :byebye:

My freshwater tank (32"x15"x12") isn't big enough - bad advice from my LFS. :grr:

I'm wanting to find some fish or a fish that is a bit different from the norm but would be happy in a tank currently stocked with a gold nugget, vitattas pleco and 4 sunset gouramis.

I don't like elephant nose and I want to steer away from aggressive fish.

(Also, if anyone has a magic formula to stunt the growth of my BGK then feel free to let me know before their 'final hour' in my tank - :( )

Cheers
Pete

Well, that tank sounds ideal for either candy stripe gobies or peacock gudgeons. Both are fairly unaggressive freshwater goby species, peacocks grow to about 2.5" and candy stripes at 3" to 4" :)

Well..... there is a happy ending to my sad (fishy) tale. :D

I've got a guaranteed home for my BGK's when they get too big for my setup. The LFS know several people (including themselves) who want larger specimins in well established community tanks without them being put at risk while they're small.

:hyper: YAY!

Obviously I'm going to have to watch them over the next year or two to make sure they don't make my tank overstocked but at least I can enjoy them in their current home!!!! (Never know, that 6' tank may be affordable by then!)
