Currently have a 90 Litre tank with a large Pleco (9" long), 3 neons, 1 Zebra Danio, 2 Rummynose, 3 neons, and 1 Serpae Tetra.

And a large infestation of snails which im trying to clear daily.

Need to restock i know, but lost a few fish when I moved house not long ago. Any advice and restock tips would be muchly appreciated.

Would like something to help control the snail population too, and not bother the other fish.

Many thanks in advance

Hi William,
how long has it been running since the move? I would probably just start adding slowly to the groups you already have, more danios, neons, rummynose etc. Slow and steady.

I would start off by stocking up on most of the fish you have already - all of the tetra's as well as the danio are schooling fish, so provide them with a school ;)

Snails are healthy for a tank, as long as they don't get out of hand. Weight down a piece of lettuce in the evening. A few hours later, or the next morning, you should have a large number of adults converged on it, so you can dispose of many snails at once, a great way to control the snail population in the tank.

The tank has been running for around 8 months since the move. Added a few guppies around 2 months ago but lost them due to a rather large nasty black red tailed shark.

Various different types of snail in my tank, mostly normal but a few spirals too.
