Hard to say australia. It doesn't SPECIFICALLY state that one is needed or not needed. Might be worth a call/email about it to the company who manufactures it?

hey mate i have tried to but looks like they are all overseas and i cannot get the correct number,

i think i will get a chiller becuase when its hot here it gets realy hot!

my main concern is i will only be running a 1200l/h canister filter on it and i will be putting the chiller in the shed next door so the canister will have to push water around 2 metres to the chiller and 2 metres back, will my canister work? or how can i hook a powerhead up to the canister to get more flow? i have heard u can do this (some how)

The canister probably wouldn't work, they're really not meant to pump long distances or up a lot of feet of head. You'd need a powerhead and attach some tubing to it. Something in the reccomended flow range of the chiller, IF it doesn't have it's own pump.

iv managed to cool my marine system down with fans ^_^ iv got it down to 26C

Cheater and your dry air out there, really taking advantage of that evaporation :). We don't have that luxury in the US on the east side of the rockies. Humidity rules the day here :(
