My Betta decided today to gorge himself on catfish pellets (that had been added for the shrimp) *after* eating his hikari pellets... Now he looks like a blimp!

How on earth do you send a Betta to the naughty step ?

Guess he'll have to go without for a couple of days :/

you cant as soon as you try and ignore him he will do his little dance for you and bang he will be forgiven :)

haha so true  i am trying to keep blaze off his food but he does his lil wiggle dance so i have been giving him a lil flake so it doesn't bloat him again

Well, he's still chubby today, so no food for him. He can wiggle dance as much as he likes... I *will* be strong!

I'm sure he's plotting my demise as I sleep...

I think our bettas were spawned by the same pair lmao

Alfie is a butthead too

Here's what you do in order to keep him in line:

Put him in a cup/small container. Make sure it's see through. Holding the cup, stand over the toilet with your hand on the lever. Tell him if he doesn't behave he's gettin the flusheroo. Might work, might not

Hope that helped

hehe, blueberry would just roll his eyes at my if i did the whole "betta cup over the toilet" scheme..he knows i am chicken.

you just have to talk to him respectfully. point your finger and place your other hand on your hip and say this "Now! Do you REALLY think that's what you were suppose to do? That was NOT your food Mister!" WHen he does the dance just close your eyes..it's the only solution.
