Ok, so today I got up as normal and went to get my hair cut and somehow ended up leaving the hairdressers with 6 marine fish and a load of live rock!
Only reason being that the tank they had was split and the fish had been put in jam jars with a sign saying free to collector.... Well I couldnt just leave them so here it is....
(before anyone says the tank isnt cycled, i know :( but I took the water from the leaky tank, the live rock and the filter so the only new bit is the glass)

If anyone wants to let me know what fish they actually are then please feel free :)
Only could get pics of 3 but there is also a 3" Dory, a Bubbles but he is brown and one is white with red lines but is same sort of shape as purple one

Please.... If you have any ideas then let me know what I have :)

Looks like a bluechromis, some kind of damsal and a purple Pseudochromis.
So your going marine now?

YF

Marine wasnt even an option until I went out today.... Im not sure if I will keep them or pass them on to a friend who has a 215ltr tank but yea I would like to give it a go :)
Will still keep my freshwater tank tho :)

And I believe they are not reef safe, but I could be wrong.
Truck, what about ID's for the rest, am I close?

YF

Personally I had no idea what I was letting myself in for, I only have them as I didnt want to leave them in their jam jars :)

Well, they are better off with you than in the jam jars I agree there.
There is no reason why you carnt become a marinest and a tropical person, I am.
What tank size are they in atm?

YF

At the moment I have them in a 60ltr as its all I had available but if I stay marine then they will get a bigger tank..... Maybe 5ft-6ft

Yellow one is a lemonpeel dwarf angel.....regals are reef safe but need a large tank as they grow...purple looks like a magenta dottyback..last guy is a damsel , fijian maybe??

dori was a regal tang, they can get to about a foot long, are white spot prone and need tons of swimming space. i would move this guy on first

thanks for all the help you guys :)

am a bit upset now tho because my partner got home from work, rang his dad and told him that he can have all the fish and live rock so im no longer marine :(
