Are red phantom tetra known for being aggressive?
we recently added six albino tetra to our tank and the red phantom tetra have been really aggressive and keep chomping the tails on the other fish. -_-
is this normal or are mine really naughty?

Sounds like a bit of pecking order activity. The stablished fish are making sure the new ones know who's in charge. Phantoms are not especially aggressive under normal circumstances. How long has this been going on?

A common "leveller" is to move some of the tank decor around, the established fish are then a little less sure of themselves.

Update: The Red Phantom Tetra have returned to their original home
They really took the mick when they chewed the tails off ALL of the new tetra. :(

there are now 6 more albino tetra and they all play together very nicely!

:flex: ♂ Red phantoms can be territorial, but normally not aggressive. In my
opinion one of the more peaceful of the high-bodied tetras.
