hi im wating to take my turnover from what is now 5.4 to around 15, with the nanostream 6025 and my fluval 205 it would be just over 20, is this too much?
also has the nanostream 6025 got like a variable setting to adjust flow, my tank is 125l i dont want to blast everything around

I use a combination of a tetratec ex1200 and a koralia 1 in my 120l planted, giving a theoretical 2700lph and it's fine though my powerhead is less powerful than the one you are looking at and obviously there's no way in hell my filter is giving 1200lph (hence the theoretical). I'd maybe get a slightly less powerful powerhead (or possibly 2 small ones to allow for much tweakings) unless your tank is full to the brim with hardscape as a theoretical flow rate of 3180lph may be a bit much. How come you're after this level of flow, going planted?
