Nano Protein Skimmer Question

well, I am going to give this NANO thing a try! I just recently purchased a Fission Nano Skimmer (Current) for my Aquapod 24G (soon to be set-up), it is supposed to be the smallest skimmer on the market. The question is: Where should I locate the skimmer?? I Believe the Aquapod 24G has two chambers in the back, is this where it should be located? It should fit considering that it is like 2 inches wide. Also, how does this skimmer connect, through a seperate pump, or the one provided in the Aquapod? Anyone with expirance I would greatly appreciate your comment. On a different note, I noticed a place on my Aquapod hood for a second fan. Is this nessasary? What are the benifits? Wow I sure threw alot of questions out there, hope its not too overwhelming!

The Fission skimmer is getting a lot of bad press of late. Some people have tossed it out. Reportedly makes a lot of air bubbles. The skimmer is meant to be driven by a small power head and I believe it can go in either chamber. Personally, 10% water changes weekly should do it. SH
