I'm completely new to marine. I am hoping to start a Nano marine tank.
I was hoping you guys could give me information on how to do it, such as

What are the water parameters?

What equipment I will need (test kits, lights, heaters etc.)

How to go about putting coral in

What salts I will need

1) The parameters any good reefkeeper would be going for is having everything at 0 except for pH. Meaning that Nitrate,Nitrite,and Ammonia should be kept at 0 or close to 0. For pH, you should be shooting for an 8.0-8.3
2)The equipment you will need:
-Hydrometer
-Heater
-Aragonite Sand
-Live Rock
-R/O Source (Reverse Osmosis Water)
-Thermometer
-Powerhead (20x the gallon, so for example a 20gallon tank would need atleast 400gph)
-Synthetic Salt (Instant Ocean,Red Sea etc...)
-Testing Kit
-Lighting isnt such a crucial thing if your going to keep FOWLR (Fish Only With Live Rock)
3)If you want to keep corals then you will need to have strong lighting.
