Name Please?

i know this is a long shot just to describe, he is like a fish but with legs think they may be related to a newt. they have what looklike gills on the neck of them, come in black/dark brown or white. just wondering if you could help me with a name for it, so i can find more info on one. think this is in the wrong section but dint know where else it could go.

I am sooo glad I read this post, I saw one of those in a pet shop when I was younger and always wanted one but didn't have a clue what it was....oh I'm all excited, I have to have one(or 2 or 3..) I'll have to research ALOT, does anyone know where you can buy them?

If i get mine to breed which i want to do soon as my female is very fat I'll be looking to post the eggs and larvey to let people try to rear them.

Brilliant Hopefully I will have moved by then and have another tnak setup, what sort do you have?

I doubt my lfs would order them, they are crap, oh it's sooo exciting, I can't believe I've finally found out what they are.
